The Speed of Attention in the Internet Age

It's in some ways a sped up version of what the ancient world had. What will survive is that only that which gains attention, and which is able to keep attention, even if it's for a short time. And so we end up falling back into ancient tropes of mythological patterns, but way faster. I think there are there are domestic landscapes emerging, but they are very much at the grassroots and among subcultures.
