Batteries can be drawn down fairly low without damaging the batteries. It's important for those that are listening to understand what is the limits of your batteries. Electrical current is more efficient the higher the voltage. If you're start with a very low voltage battery, it's going to recharge more slowly at the lowest voltage than it will at the highest end of the voltage.
