The Problem of Generativity in Kant
The notion of the thing in itself not being accessible does feel like it's taken up as a theme in the withdrawal and then Heidegger kind of makes it to a big part of his way of dealing with you know grounding his phenomenology. I also wanted to say if there's like a problem of generativity it is that you know why these 12 concepts and categories and no others. And yet it doesn't seem like it makes sense to draw the contrast that he draws without something like a reference to an infinite intellect. It's one of those moments where it's really unclear how he has the right to make that sort of claim.
