Madero and Reyes - A History of the Mexican Revolution

Madero's popularity among his own revolutionary supporters was waning. He let Bernardo Reyes back into the country after he had been in exile since 1909. Madero got going with preparations for the presidential election, which are now scheduled for October 1911.
