The Importance of Women in the Church
There are women who have the gift of pastoring and it's a spiritual gift. I don't think God chooses gender for spiritual gifts, so all of those things are there. When you think of a pastor in the New Testament, you should think of a small group leader, like Lydia in a small group. There were no pulpits until the ninth century. So when people talk about, we don't want women behind the sacred desk - that's a cultural thing.
