Chancellor doubled down on the independence of the bank of england as well. I signalled to the markets to say, don't worry, don't interfere. We're not going to interfere with the institutions that the markets are obviously watching - you know where the pound is now. It's trying to deflate the economyye. And then we've got the government, which is spending like crazy, trying to inflate the economy.
