You teach at Chiang Mai University of public Research University Northern Thailand. You wrote this while teaching an annual undergraduate course in literary theory. Many of the examples come from a range of context including Thai, British, US, pop culture. How does this intercultural dialogue shape modern language philosophy and criticism? In terms of my book, I mean the fact that I've been living in Thailand for 21 years now so it, you know, you can't help but feel some influence from that first of all.
