The roots of the offspring go back to 1983 when Brian Holland and his buddy Greg Creasull started jamming in a garage. The biggest breakthrough in the world of skatepunk came from a band that featured a briniac kid and a school janitor. Grunge led the way, but that was just the entry drug for all kinds of acts over the next five years.
