The Effect of Cold Weather on Heart Attacks
The majority of this cold related death is cardio vascular heart attacks are more common during the winter. Lower the temperature, 20 degrees celsius, or 35 degrees fahrenheit, and hard attack risk goes up about 15%. Why? The most common story is that surface blood vessels constrict in colder weather, which increases blood pressure and makes the heart work harder.
