She was formerly the chief foreign affairs correspondent at CBS News, which is a lofty position compared to someone no longer welcome on Newsmax. Her reporting relied heavily on a story told by a contractor named Dylan Davies who was lying to her. The blood libel laden QAnon rant was just another step on her path to full on public conspiracy lunatic. I think it makes total sense for him to come to her defense.
