There've been quite a few really amazing projects that are mostly fundered by the e r c. A lot of work im led by a belgian canbusdoon, who also deserves the shout out. And so what we wanted to do with th project was to take a place where we knew something about the language history in southern zambia. We want to know how people made it meaningful to stay in place when they felt that they had to move, and why. So it's a sort of late chapter in the bante expansions. It's a chapterwh we have the overlay of one banto speaking community over another earlier bantospeaking community. But it allows us to get
