The Fed Is Still Providing Accommodative Monetary Policy
P powel spent most of that hearing blaming rising f inflation on the supply side, supply shortages. And now everybody is shocked that the prices are going up, when we did exactly what any econ one o one textbook would say would happen. We have no control over supply, and most of the problem has to do with supply. That's cansism. If the fed really wants to fight inflation, you can't fight inflation with an accommodative policy.
