Pastors, Is There a Pastoral Interest in Staff Buildings, Budget Budgets?

I think a lot of our instincts would be to say, this is deacon stuff, not pastor stuff. And sometimes it is. I don't think it's a surprise that the topics you've aimed at are staff buildings and budget budgets because those are the aspects of administration that seem most bound up in a philosophy of ministry. You don't have anything to say about IT or payroll processing or how you mow the lawn,. Because they're honestly aren't as readily accessible spiritual interest in those activities. Even for those that do seem to be as he put it, deacon activities, there's always a spiritual element to them.
