Dietary Carbohydrates - Are They Essential?

The idea of eating, reducing starchy foods was sort of accepted wisdom for the better part of the last 150, 180 years. Carbohydrates are really just a form of energy; if you have a lot of energy, like body fat is a source of energy, then from a nutritional standpoint, you don't need any carbohydrates ever.
