i was surprised to see charles murray endorse the idea of a u b i, although he would cancel all other social programmes and eplay wer yet is is differnt. He wantsto all the current entitlements into th oneyou. So if everybody's getting their check a, you're at least responsible for handling what you got responsibly. I don't know how we create more entitlements like that on top of the teetering entitlement state we've already got. But there seems to be a conventional wisdom thate, hey,Everybody thought we couldn't spend like this without paying for it, and we're getting away with it, so let's keep doing it.
