Tommy spent a long time editing these strings and making them. The Budapest Film Orchestra are amazing. I really regret the way we recorded the close miking violins because we reuse an AKG, which is good. We should have just used an SM58 for the single string lines that we did in the studio. It's like such a contrast in a way to the staticness of everything else. Can almost even just play this, like the vocals, play over this. So much of this drum stuff was influenced by Glenn Cott, Ship Wilco,. my favourite band and Donnie Riddellovs him. Diamond, Jung, Mike, wanted something, raw, roomy
