Is There a Safe Way to Design?

I think, looking back at how i started designing, it was safe. It was what i thought the client would like and what i thought would give me the least heartbreak. But when you start doing more projects wand they start seeing your portfolio, you are almost earning more trust and getting more freedom in the way that you design. So i think i keep trying to push those boundaries when i can. And sometimes the idea seem crazy to me, and sometimes it's a total fail so if anything, to the point of your podcast, our job is little failures every single day.
