I feel chills just listening to you, thinking about all that's happened. And in the same way that i think of translation, when i initially approached these stories, it was hard to take off my researcher's hat. I sort of leaned into that, because something like the cheddu island massacre, you're not going to find too much about it. Even those in or in my family that experience it theyr, they're gone. So having access to those languages give you access to the history and the memory told between different communities,. Different countries hold those memories differently as a people than we do as an individual.
