So they were able to rally skeptical allies. They couldn't convince them until the invasion took place. It rivalled the performance of the intel community during the Cuban Missile Crisis when they got stolen blueprints of the Russian missile sites in Cuba. And you two flights and prepare JFK for what was happening, it was an extraordinary performance.
