The future of abortion council was put together in september at the urging of california governor newsome a, following thea enactment of texas senate bill eight. In december, we released forty five recommendations, and a in january, about thorteen bills were introduced in the legislature based off of those recommendations. All those bills are currently moving through the legislative process right now.
