The All Night Taxi Gunfight

All night gun battle between fleets of taxicabs in which the vehicles were maneuvered according to the strategy of tank warfare, while their drivers fired hundreds of shots at each other. Raged through the early morning hours on the streets of chicago's west side to day. The paper described it as mobile warfare. Strings of yellow cabs in line rushed past the headquarters of the checuered cab company at breakneck speed,. rallying the black and white cheqkuered cabs of the attacked dashed out in mass and ripped into the yellow for counter attack.
