Lucretia and the Still Life

Fachors intention was to bring joy to the world with the potato eaters. After that commercialism became much more important and it was in Paris Lucretia that he started his first series of still life paintings of sunflowers. The Dutch Reformed church looked very seriously on the second commandment they shall not make any grave an image. Van Gogh would have known about this and the still life would have been a meditation on mortality those sunflowers are blooming and they're dying.
