The Importance of Talent in IQ Performance
It doesn't seem from my reading of this, even though it's different from the author Ellen winner, it doesn't seem to be the case that you need to have this kind of talent in order to reach those top levels of performance. And also we do observe that everybody who reaches this kind of high level has this enormous amount of practice behind them. So ultimately, I think there's a lot more to elucidate about the role of IQ in thinking about talent. But basically from what I've seen here, I can say that most people don't have any talent, some tiny minority have some ridiculous talent which is because something really weird is going on inside their brain.
