Do Managers Have a Place in the Scrum Team?

The way to think about the daily scrum is it's really a risk management event. So, providing a status doesn't really may or may not be helpful towards managing that risk. If you if you approach as this is the tactical risk management that we're doing on a day-to-day basis to achieve our sprint goal then what's going to affect the delivery of the sprint goal is what will bubble up. And that will bring us daily scrum to life and we've done that with many, many teams,. but most importantly, with managers and leadership teams.
