The Fallibility of Skepticism
The fallibility of skepticism also allows him to, as it were, leave it to the reader to make their judgments. It's not that he ends up saying stoicism is the right philosophy or epicureanism is. He says basically they've all got something to be said for them. And I think it's sort of crucial that we're not just supposed to think well.
