The Importance of Technology in the Military in the War on Terror
The military is encouraged basically to separate itself and just not identify with the rest of the of the populace. That makes it very easy for the government to separate the loyalty of the soldier from from the body of the populace, which is always kind of a recipe for disaster. One of the issues that I think a technologically based focus of the military does is it tends to abstract the military from kind of the actual effective solutions and well-being of the soldier.
