What Is the Concept of Mental Illness?
The phrase mental illness is a figure of speech. It's mixing two different categories of language, terms, mental and then illness. And you can't literally have the mind be ill, because the mind is not a substance. If psychiatry ever did find that these things, like scisophrenia, by polar disorder, if they were truly caused by some identifiable, or even theorized, malfunction of brain, would no longer be the specialty that would handle that. Psychiatrists are a they've always been thought by neurology as a sort of bastardization of a medical specialty.
