The Implications of Virtual Labs for Climate Change Assessment
The findings from the study really highlight a couple of things our economy is interconnected. We need to concentrate our efforts widely across a range of sectors and regions if we are to build resilience in dealing with climate change. So this research in food systems, supply chain assessment, international trade linkages I feel is a starting point for further studies in this space. And it's quite interesting to see Australia and this interconnected framework could enable quantification of impacts for disasters that have already taken place.
