Over the next few weeks, Boington shot down Japanese planes in bunches through at a time. He is approaching Eddie Rickenbacker's record of 26 kills. And he was you would think now later in life, he did like the limelight. But during the war, he you would think Boington was this flashy guy during the war and that he was like, you know, all Mr. Press and he no, not a white the opposite actually.
