The carbon offset market is growing rapidly. In 20 21, voluntary purchases of carbon offsets topped one billion dollars. Prices for several types of offsets have quadrupled or quintuppled in the last two years alone. As this market grows, it becomes even more important than it's built on inte. The larger the market, the more ability it has to slow the climate crisis. But at the same time, we will be if the market turns out to be built on false promises of omissions reductions.
