Do You Have Any Advice for the Lay Person?

I don't feel that i'm an outlier among economists have spent time actually trying to do policy. I think it is something that one learns comes to terms with. Many times when we are sitting, whether it's in our little offices in the academy or in the white house, we are coming at the world from one vantage point. We may not understand the constraints in people's lives and the struggle that people are going thoug if you have to take six busses in order to get to your three jobs. Do you really understand what a minimum wage might actually do for you in terms of making it only two jobs and three busses? So i think hat that's why
