The Politics of Language

There was something interestingly paradoxical about the politics or ethics of the vienna circle. On one hand, they conceived themselves explicitly as representatives of modernity. But at the same time, their account of language was such that it removed any meaning value to a discourse. So on the one hand, you have a very substantial culture and political manifesto that they wanted to implement. The vocabulary one needs to use to articulate such ideas is empty antion.
