The Importance of Female Employment
There are two ways to get people to start embracing female employment. Either the economic returns increase, which means more labor demand or job creation. But also, surety, reducing concerns about a potential loss of honor is important. A new paper shows that women will work for a lower wage if it's in a female owned enterprise because her family know there's much lower risk of her honor being solid. Also, we see that women are more likely to work in neighbourhoods where they feel safe.
