The ATF's Final Decision on the Cause of the West Texas Fire
Bryce Reed pleaded guilty to two lesser counts on October 10, 2013 and was sentenced to 21 months in prison. In 2016, three years after the explosion, the federal agency announced the final ruling as to the cause of the blaze. To this day, not a single suspect has been named. Despite an extensive investigation, the spend more than 400 interviews and cost more than $2 million.
