The Life and Times of Georges Solange

In 1859, Solange set off a minor literary war when she published El Eluis. This was a fictionalized version of her romance with Alfred de Musee years earlier. The two men in 1860 while Solange was visiting Paris, later became friends and went on to exchange letters for years. At the end of that year, one of the first celebrity licensed luxury scents was created: Odegeor's son for the body and for the hanky.
