A Christmas Story From the First World War

Sophie would like a Christmas story that's very happy and joyful. Let's do a story from the First World War from 1914 called The Christmas Truths. Soldiers went to war singing cheerful songs because everybody had told them they would all be home before the leaves fell from the trees. Now you know one of those songs, it's the Tipperary Song.
