Abel Archer and the Piffy Ab Report

The report chronicled the events leading up to Abel Archer in a lot of detail and it tried to identify all the mistakes that allowed things to get to that point. The authors focus on one root cause of the whole snafu, what they call overconfidence. There's too much confidence that the nuclear war can never happen or that the Soviets would never think that.
