What Is It Doing?
Rashi tells us that what it's doing is taking teaching important lesson. The person was like a bird, kept on chirping. And therefore we use birds in our remedy of his illness to teach him that you shouldnyou shouldn't do that. Then we take the tall bird, the tall tree, the cedar tree and we point out that this behaviour is rooted in haughtiness and arrogance.
