A Case Study on Outcomes After Electrical Injuries
Paper number two is on outcomes after electrical injuries. This was a 19 year retrospective study at a single centre in norway. They identified 465 patients who were admitted to the e d. And they retrospectively looked at the notes for history, esiges and also biochemical markers. There were no differences between high voltage versus low voltage or trans thoracic versus non-thoracic injuries. Serious arymias had zero% mortality compared to those with lower levels of damage.
