That's taking shoppers from downtown to the suburbs, and that's exactly what's going on everywhere other than Manhattan. In gutted downtowns like Minneapolis and Chicago and Seattle and Portland and San Francisco, those shoppers are no longer going to downtown because the workers aren't going there.
