The Risks of Being Defensive

Kirstarman was very positive and not defensive in the way he framed his arguments, including on the question of delaying when they started borrowing the 28 billion. He emphatically did not put it in the context of a concession. So that's what I came away thinking. But I do go back to a theme from our podcast a week ago that you have to be bloody careful being cautious. There are risks in being cautious. And the risks are losing the cutting edge you get as an opposition party.
