Hipop writer scott polson bryant wrote that puffy was his own best logo. Puffy signed biggy twice, first to uptown records and then later to his own label, bad boy. Myric was a community college drop out queens. He wanted to make a different kind of music, music that sounded like what nashim mirik was cooking up. Biggi liked that those songs got him noticed, but he wasn't totally sold on the image they created for him.
