The Engineer and the Dandelion Dynasty

There are a few things within the dandelion dynasty and kind of around it that you articulate. I wanted to spend a little bit of time on the first is this idea of the engineer as a poet. So technologists historically have been tinkerers, they're not inventing things based on fundamental abstractions but tinkering with existing solutions by tweaking them. That part of engineering is not all that different from what poets do or learn to write stories. You learn a repertoire of tools and techniques that you then put together to achieve very new results.
