I don't quite understand how people can firstly be expecting rates to go nowhere, but then also think it's more likely that there'll be a rate cut when inflation is still agonizing. I mean, who's writing these expectations? Like, where are they getting their information from? It was crazy because it was NAB, Westpac, and ANZ all saying that there wouldn't be a rate hike. Only Commonwealth Bank was kind of aware of the fact that inflation is still very high. With inflation at almost 7%.
