I feel very good about this conversation in part because I think I've said this before, but it's not a state secret. All of my savings, whatever they are to speak of, all of it is either in cash certificates of deposit or the S&P 500 dollar cost averaging over the last number of years. How am I doing? You're doing well. In fact, the only thing I'd suggest is now we have index funds that allow you to be international as well - which being global hasn't been that helpful for the last decade.
