Foucault's the Politics of Truth
Foucault: Truth is linked in a circular relation with a system of power which produces and sustain it. And to effects of power which it induces and extended, a regime of truth. Because they get to decide what's true, they will decide what'strue and away which benefits them. That's what Foucault was saying. He doesn't think it's about changing people's consciousness or what's in their head but the political, economic, and institutional regime of the production of truth.
