Is Rome Insanely Big?

I feel like you guys have this perspectivek american cities, ecase they're just so large and overwhelming. And i kind of feel like there isn't, if i remember italy correctly, ten plus years ago on drunk and stumbles around, like all the cities are really small. Is that, like, is rome insanely big and i'm just not remembering it? Rome feels big because it's so crazy and crowded and chaotic, feeling like you're just zipping around in your little cars and getting near accidents kind of all the time.
