What's the Difference Between Producer and Rentier?
i like to think of liberalism as, the history of liberalism is fighting against unearned, intrenched interests. And the original one was that landowning class. A lot of these economists that were around at the same time, ah, you know, read and agreed with it - even if they thought his economic reasoning was a a little bit ill informed. i think there's also a lot of people who who see the developer as worse.
