Shaney's Translation of Beowulf

Shaney received the Nobel prize in literature for this translation. He definitely captures the image aspect of the text very well, like it's almost cinematic at times at times. And I think that there's a, if I had to attribute kind of a tone to Beowulf, the two words that come together for me are kind of a noble ferocity.
