The Relationship Between Wages and House Prices

I stood for Parliament. One of the most enjoyable things I ever did, which sounds slightly weird,. But my father drove around a car and I had a tanoy and was sad. Adulthood emerged earlier, I think, in Britain. The question is what you do about it? How do you recalibrate the relationship between wages and house prices? And the typical answer to that is we need to build more houses. Of course, I'll be interested to know your view. We don't want to just defer the problem by building houses and increasing the size of the population. That would fundamentally change the nature of the country.
